YMCA Turkey Trot

Thank you to all of our 121st YMCA Buffalo Niagara Turkey Trot participants, sponsors, volunteers, and the entire Western New York Community for making the race a success! It is because of YOU that the Turkey Trot has become a major Thanksgiving tradition. We are already preparing for next year’s race and can’t wait to see you again at the starting line.

An annual event that’s become a Thanksgiving tradition, the YMCA Turkey Trot helps support kids and families across Western New York. Proceeds from the Turkey Trot help make YMCA programs and services accessible to people in our community who would otherwise not be able to afford the full costs.

Since 1896 runners have competed in the cross country race that has become today’s Turkey Trot. The race attracts serious runners, amateurs, and team competitors alike. The Turkey Trot is an 8k footrace which begins on Delaware Avenue, and continues into downtown Buffalo. Consider joining us this year, and explore the links below to get a better sense of the event and its impact.

Thank you to our sponsors!
