Youth will learn the basics of how to play the trading card game throughout various skill sessions taught by YMCA Staff that are local competitive MTC players.
This is a hands-on, full participation class to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills while learning, creating, exploring, and playing together. Participants will use various building and sculpting materials such as Lego bricks, clay, blocks, etc. This class is the perfect way for youth to develop hand-eye coordination, creativity, tactile response, and more.
This 2-hour program, for girls and boys, looking to learn about and compete in chess. Participants will learn the basics of chess and strategy to play at a highly competitive level. They will have the opportunity to play in local, regional, and possibly national tournaments.
(For 50+) Join us for fun and exercise in the fitness center. Cardio work, strength training, and stretching to improve your posture and flexibility. Or let our pool be a fountain of youth, reserved just for you! Average pool temperature is 84-86 degrees!
