2010 Strong Kids Campaign Now Underway!
Our Goal - $530,000

skvideoYMCA Buffalo Niagara officially launched the start of the 2010 Strong Kids Campaign at a kickoff celebration held January 7 at the Pearl Street Grille in downtown Buffalo.  As of that evening, a grand total of $237,450 or 44.8% had been raised toward this year's campaign goal of $530,000.

This year's theme, A Promise to Our Community reflects the mission and purpose of the campaign - our promise to not turn anyone away from the YMCA due to an inability to pay the full amount.  Funds raised through Strong Kids help to provide financial assistance to those who would otherwise be unable to afford to participate in YMCA programs.  Donations made to an individual branch stay with that branch to benefit individuals and families living within the communities it serves.

We hope you will consider helping the YMCA fulfill its promise to serve all!  Your gift, no matter the size, will have a life enriching impact on a neighbor in need.  Make a donation online or visit your branch member service desk prior to March 4, 2010.
