An organized swim program for adults who are interested in building endurance and improving their strokes and turns. Participation in competitive meets is possible, but not required. Training takes place during fitness swims.
Parents can relax and enjoy a night out knowing that their kids are in a safe and caring environment at the Y! Children are supervised by Y staff and will enjoy swimming, gym games, and snacks. Parents/guardians must sign children in and out of the branch with a photo ID. 24 hour advance registration is required. Space is limited to 50 participants so be sure to register early. Children under 5 years will
not participate in swimming. Please be courteous and call if you know you can not use your reserved spot.
This program teaches children the fundamentals of soccer,
basketball, T-Ball, and hockey. Children learn the importance of physical activity and each class includes a segment on character development, which focuses on honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility.
For a child with growing comfort in the water. Participants learn paddle strokes, basic floats, and water entries. The class focuses on performing skills and swimming independently with and without flotation. Pre-requisites: independent swimming with minimal flotation OR instructor’s recommendation.
Let your child explore movement while developing gross motor skills and spatial awareness. A fun learning experience in developing flexibility and coordination.
