Get moving this summer with Independent Health and YMCA Buffalo Niagara’s Fitness in the Parks – a FREE program designed to encourage all Western New Yorkers to stay on track with their fitness goals!
Everyone is welcome to participate in these FREE, 60-minute fitness classes, taught by YMCA certified instructors.
Corner of Youngs and West Klein. Class takes place by the bandstand.
Corner of Garrison & Park Dr
Classes located near Elmwood
Yoga classes take place near the Rose Garden. Bootcamp takes place near the corner of Amherst and Colvin on the green space.
Classes located on the Pickleball courts.
Between shelter 12 & 13. Parking behind library.
Main Street Park
Staff will direct you to site.
Classes located off Pavement Road, immediately on the right side.
South 4th street entrance; parking lot D near the picnic shelter.
“Widewaters Marina”, close to Cold Springs Rd. North/Lake Ave. South.

Classes located near the gazebo.

Classes on 7/6 & 7/13 take place at the ADPRO Sports Training Center. Parking in the Fieldhouse lot. Classes on 7/20 & 7/27 take place on the field. Parking is in Lot 2. Enter gate 2. Enter sections 133/134.

By the outdoor fitness center.
Boot Camp - No excuses! Enjoy a challenging and fun, yet doable workout! Focus on speed, endurance, agility, strength, power moves, and cardiovascular training.
Cardio Dance - Simple yet challenging choreography set to music. Enhances cardiovascular endurance, muscle tone, flexibility, and coordination. All fitness levels welcome.
Cardio Kickboxing - A great way to relieve stress and tension, this aerobic based class combines martial arts, boxing, aerobic exercises, and strengthening exercises to increase flexibility, balance, strength, and coordination. Learn the proper way to kick and punch in a safe, non-contact environment.
Pilates - Pilates is a method of body conditioning named after Joseph Pilates. The class would strengthen the body’s core muscles including the abdominals and lower back. It will tone the body and increase flexibility.
Yoga provides gentle effective postures that promote stretching, strengthening, and relaxation. The benefits of yoga include increased blood circulation, improved mental awareness, strengthened muscles and reduced stress.
Zumba® - Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you'll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It's easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.
