At YMCA Camp Weona, we believe that every child should have the chance to experience camp. The YMCA Strong Kids Campaign provides financial assistance to families within our community who are in need of financial support. Each year, volunteers work tirelessly to raise scholarship dollars, which help to ensure that no one denies a child a chance to participate in the YMCA experience because of an inability to pay.

Last year, nearly 300 contributors supported YMCA Camp Weona's campaign, allowing us to allocate over $62,000 to more than 212 children and families. Please consider volunteering your time and pledging your financial support so that we may continue youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

Within the available resources of the organization, YMCA Buffalo Niagara will provide services to those not able to pay the full fee. Financial assistance eligibility is the discretion of the executive director. Financial assistance is determined based on a thorough review of the application and a personal interview with the applicant. Assistance will be granted on the basis of financial need resulting from low income, emergency expenses or other circumstances that inhibit an individual's ability to pay a prescribed fee.
