For the younger or first-time camper who wants a taste of what camp is like – this is the session for you! The YMCA believes in progressive and age-appropriate camping and this is a great way to see what it is all about. Children will enjoy a week of traditional activities like swimming, canoeing, arts & crafts, archery, campfires, horseback riding, and much more!  Make new friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

Stretch your one-week session into two or more sessions with our NEW weekend camp program. Designed for our seasoned campers who want to stay for a longer session, camp out under the stars at historic Camp Dell, cook over an open fire, and enjoy greater challenges with high and low ropes courses.

Come back for an All-Star session that will grow your leadership potential and prepare you for our LIT program in summer 2011. Designed for those campers who have always wanted to focus on low and high ropes challenges and build leadership qualities.

Leaders in Training (LIT) must be at least 14 years old and have a willingness to learn more about leadership and a desire to take a leadership role while at camp. Our LIT program is progressive, and in order to promote leadership, fees are about a third less than the cost of a regular camp session.  All LITs will participate in a hands on “Learning Leadership” curriculum. (Service hours may count toward volunteer time for graduation - check with your school counselor.)

LIT III

Formerly our CIT program and newly renamed LIT III - this multi-session (three consecutive week commitment) program is designed to further Third Year LITs. LITs must be at least 16 years old and undergo an interview and selection process, as well as serve as a leader for part of the summer.  (Service hours may count toward volunteer time for graduation – check with your school counselor.)
