 Volunteers are the lifeblood of the YMCA. At all levels, volunteers contribute valuable resources of knowledge and talents to help our association carry out its mission.
There are a number of volunteer opportunities at YMCA Camp Weona available throughout the year, and several options outlined below:
Policy Volunteers: People who serve on YMCA Camp Weona's board of management and/or committees.
Program Volunteers: Those who work directly with members to deliver YMCA programs and services.
Fundraising Volunteers: Those who provide the leadership and legwork that ensure successful fundraising campaigns and special events.
Support Volunteers: The people who help in the office or at camp, assisting staff in day-to-day operations.

 Your contribution of:
$84 per month or $1008 provides funds for one teen to attend a Leader-In-Training Session to gain valuable leadership and life skills
$42 per month or $504 provides funds for one youth to attend one residential session for one child to experience nature, camp activities and many exciting challenges
$31.25 per month or $375 provides funds a First Chance camp session for one young first-time camper to play learn and make new friends
$10 per month or $120 provides funds for one child to experience the fun and adventure of a weekend camp session, enjoying the outdoors, learning camp craft skills and appreciation for outdoor enrichment
YMCA Camp Weona is part of the YMCA Buffalo Niagara and is a non-profit organization. Your donation is fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. All funds donated go directly to YMCA Camp Weona to allow children and families to participate in enriching outdoor experiences.

ANNUAL GIVING
A gift to the Annual Strong Kids Campaign provides support for boys and girls who would like to attend summer camp, and who require financial assistance.
In 2011, approximately 212 youth were able to attend our camps, thanks to the generosity of the YMCA Camp Weona family. You may send checks or arrange monthly bank drafts by contacting our camp office at 716-565-6000 ext 120.
