For A Better Us
The Y is committed to helping everyone achieve their potential. YMCA Buffalo Niagara provides financial assistance to children, adults, and families who cannot afford to pay for the full cost of a YMCA program or membership. Please download a confidential financial assistance application or visit the front desk of your local YMCA to apply.
Support From Our Neighbors
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are able to make the Y accessible through our Financial Assistance Program. Funds raised from the YMCA’s Annual Campaign and Turkey Trot are allocated to children and families in need, ensuring that no one is ever turned away for an inability to pay.
Financial assistance is available to anyone based on family income, number of household members, and the availability of Y funds. Assistance is available at all YMCA Buffalo Niagara locations. Funds can be used for membership and/or program fees, including after-school care, summer day camp, and programs for which additional fees apply, such as sports or aquatics. All Y members receive the same membership benefits, regardless of scholarship assistance.
How to Apply
Confidential financial assistance applications are available at the Welcome Center of your local YMCA Buffalo Niagara branch. Applications can also be downloaded on the website. To process your application, please provide the following information:
