Weight Loss Program
The YMCA Weight Loss Program is designed to help people seeking a healthier weight achieve their goals by making small, modest changes to daily behaviors and forming sustainable, healthy habits. Rather than advocate for specific or restrictive short-term solutions, this program helps participants build skills for successful lifestyle changes.
Participants in this 12 week, group based program discuss weekly topics such as balanced eating, physical activity, goal setting, positive psychology, and behavior sustainability to self-design action plans and achieve weight loss goals.
- 12 weeks / 1 session a week
- Must be 18 years or older
- Provides tools, knowledge, and group support to help you develop plans that support your weight loss goals
- YMCA members only
- Cost: $75 YMCA members, $125 non-members
Women, let us help you build confidence while building muscle! Strength training is a must for women and our small group "Women on Weights" training program is a great way to learn and apply safe and effective weight training techniques. A minimum of four participants are required to run the class.
This class is specifically designed for ages 10-15 years old to get fit while having fun! This class is led by a skilled YMCA trainer with experience working with kids and teaching proper form. Each class will focus on body weight. *Registration required, due to limited space.
